Confluence Connector
Sync pages from your Atlassian Confluence spaces into Knowledge Raven. All synced content is immediately searchable by your AI agent.
What Gets Synced
- Confluence pages (page body content, converted to plain text)
- Page titles are indexed as searchable metadata
- Space names are preserved for filtering
- Attachments are not synced in the current version
How to Connect
Step 1 — Open Connectors
In your Knowledge Raven Dashboard, navigate to Connectors and click Add Connector, then select Confluence.
Step 2 — Authorize with Atlassian
You will be redirected to Atlassian’s OAuth 2.0 authorization page. Sign in with your Atlassian account and grant Knowledge Raven read access to your Confluence spaces.
Knowledge Raven requests read-only scopes:
read:confluence-content.all— Read all page contentread:confluence-space.summary— Read space names and metadataread:page:confluence— Read individual pagesread:space:confluence— Read space details
Step 3 — Select Spaces
After authorization, Knowledge Raven lists all Confluence spaces accessible with your account. Select the spaces you want to sync.
Step 4 — Select a Knowledge Base
Choose which Knowledge Raven knowledge base the synced content should appear in.
Step 5 — Initial Sync
Knowledge Raven fetches all pages from the selected spaces, extracts text, generates embeddings, and indexes the content. Large spaces may take a few minutes.
Token Refresh
Confluence uses rotating refresh tokens (Atlassian OAuth 3LO). Knowledge Raven automatically refreshes tokens on each sync — no action required from you.
Source Deep-Linking
When your agent cites a Confluence page, the source_link points back to the original Confluence page URL, so you can open it directly with one click.
Troubleshooting
“Authorization failed” — Ensure your Atlassian account has access to the spaces you’re trying to sync.
Pages not showing up — After connecting, trigger a manual sync from the Connectors page. New pages are picked up on the next scheduled sync cycle.
