How it Works
Knowledge Raven runs as a remote MCP server at mcp.knowledge-raven.com/mcp. Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 — you sign in with your Knowledge Raven account on first use. No API keys, no manual token management.
For Claude Desktop, the recommended path is via the Knowledge Raven Plugin — a single ZIP file that installs both the MCP connection and the agent skill (which teaches Claude how to use the tools efficiently).
For ChatGPT and other clients, you connect directly via the remote server URL with automatic OAuth authentication.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- A Knowledge Raven account (sign up free )
- At least one connector set up with content to search
